Irbid, Dec. 3 (Petra) --The Directorate of Education for the Koura District in the northern city of Irbid launched the "My Place Among You" initiative at Jedita Mixed Basic School, affirming that education and recreation are rights for every child and reinforcing the principle of integrating and supporting students with special needs within the school environment.

The initiative featured a wide range of educational and recreational activities in which students participated, aiming to enhance their skills, support their social interaction, and provide full opportunities for students with special needs to participate in various events.

Director of Education for the Koura District, Sahel Obeidat, praised the initiative and its role in supporting students with special needs, emphasizing that it reflects the school’s commitment to offering an inclusive educational environment that accommodates individual differences and provides all students with equal opportunities for learning and integration.

School Principal Asia Rababah stated that the initiative aligns with the Ministry of Education’s vision to empower students and create a fair and inclusive school environment. She commended the efforts of the teaching staff and the support of parents and educational partners.
