Amman, Sept. 21 (Petra) – Seven Palestinians were injured on Monday when Israeli occupation forces opened fire on civilians in the Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), a woman and a child sustained serious injuries in the Bureij and Maghazi refugee camps in central Gaza.

Five other Palestinians were injured in the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Younis, the Halawa camp in northern Gaza, and the Block 12 area east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israeli occupation naval vessels also opened heavy fire toward Palestinian fishermen at sea, forcing them to leave the area.
