Amman, Sept. 8 (Petra) -- Orange Jordan announced on Tuesday the winners of the 10th local edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) for 2026, with three Jordanian entrepreneurs recognized for innovative projects addressing renewable energy, road safety and clean energy.
Tareq Hamdan won first place and a JD4,000 cash prize for "Iris," a project developing renewable energy solutions using solar and wind systems to reduce costs and reliance on traditional energy sources.
Muath Hasan took second place and JD2,500 for "SYNIRO," which uses artificial intelligence and smart technologies to improve road safety and healthcare, promote safer mobility and reduce the risk of road accidents.
Yara Siddiq won third place and JD1,500 for "PowerBlocks," a project offering solutions to make clean energy more accessible, efficient and scalable for different users and applications.
The three winners will qualify for the international edition of the prize later this year, where they will compete alongside entrepreneurs from 17 countries in which Orange operates across the Middle East and Africa.
Orange Jordan CEO Philippe Mansour expressed pride in reaching the 10th anniversary of the prize in Jordan, saying the milestone reflects the company’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and its confidence in the ability of Jordanian youth to develop innovative solutions with positive social and environmental impact.
Mansour also highlighted Orange Jordan’s efforts to support young people through the Orange Digital Center and its programs, which focus on developing talent, strengthening digital skills and supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.
