Aqaba, September 15 (Petra) – Aqaba Digital City has announced the launch of "Klstrai," Jordan's first platform dedicated to AI computing. The service allows government entities, private enterprises, startups and developers to access advanced AI infrastructure locally.
According to Iyad Abu Khurma, CEO of Aqaba Digital City, the platform represents a milestone for Jordan's technology sector. By utilising local infrastructure, organisations can efficiently build and operate AI solutions while maintaining full sovereignty over their data.
"Through this platform, we aim to support local innovation and strengthen Jordan's position as a regional hub for artificial intelligence and advanced computing services," Abu Khurma said. Organisations can access computing resources on demand without investing in expensive hardware or proprietary infrastructure. Local processing ensures that sensitive data remains within Jordan, boosting security and operational control.
"Klstrai" caters to various stages of AI integration, offering everything from pay-as-you-go computing power to fully integrated solutions, with key use cases spanning advanced data analysis, document processing, workflow automation and custom digital assistants.
As global demand for AI applications surges, localising these capabilities reduces reliance on foreign infrastructure and increases national readiness.
The launch aligns with Aqaba Digital City's ongoing mission to expand robust digital infrastructure, integrate Jordan into international telecommunications networks and meet the growing regional demand for advanced computing.
