Cairo, Sept. 18 (Petra)-- The Arab League has strongly condemned a drone attack carried out by the Houthi militia targeting Taif Governorate in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, the Arab League stressed that the continued attacks on Saudi territory threaten the country’s security and the safety of its citizens, while contributing to heightened tensions and escalation in the region.

The league underscored that Saudi Arabia’s security and stability are an integral part of Arab national security.

The official spokesperson for the Arab League Secretary-General reiterated the league’s unequivocal rejection of such attacks, calling for their immediate cessation and affirming the Arab League’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support in confronting any attacks.
