Amman, Sept. 30 (Petra) -- Chief Islamic Justice Abdul Hafez Rabtah stressed the importance of continuing professional training and qualification and developing skills to keep pace with legislative and procedural developments, emphasizing that the lawyer is an integral partner in the justice system, the protection of rights, and the stability of the family and society.

Rabtah's remarks came during a ceremony on Wednesday honoring participants in a specialized training program on personal status law, organized by the Jordanian Sharia Lawyers Association in cooperation with the Sharia Judicial Institute, in the presence of Director of Sharia Courts Samih Al-Zoubi and Association President Osama Al-Saudi.

Rabtah noted the importance of lawyers' role in spreading legal and Sharia awareness and correcting misconceptions about rights and judicial procedures. The program covered the provisions of personal status law, their practical applications, and judicial procedures, and concluded with the distribution of certificates and commemorative shields to participants.
