Amman, Sept. 30 (Petra) - A cohort of Palestinian children from Gaza returned home on Wednesday via the King Hussein Bridge after completing medical treatment under the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative.
The group included 18 children and 35 family members. The children received specialized care in Jordan following their evacuation by the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF), the Ministry of Health, and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Families expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II and JAF for the humanitarian care and advanced medical treatment their children received.
The medical corridor seeks to treat 2,000 children from Gaza. Repatriating fully recovered patients enables Jordan to evacuate new cohorts of sick children and support for Palestinians.
