Amman, September 30 (Petra) Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan on Wednesday met with a delegation of British Members of Parliament and representatives of the Conservative Middle East Council to discuss cooperation and partnership. According to a ministry statement issued Wednesday, they discussed prospects for enhancing economic and development ties between the two countries.

Toukan discussed the strategic partnership between Jordan and the UK, expressing appreciation for British support for the Kingdom and its development priorities.

She outlined the government's key priorities under the Economic Modernisation Vision and highlighted ongoing development and investment projects.

Toukan called for strengthening partnerships with the private sector and capitalising on investment opportunities in the Kingdom across various priority sectors.

She discussed the upcoming Jordan-Europe Investment Conference, scheduled to be hosted by the Kingdom in November, in fostering economic partnerships between Jordan and European countries.
