Amman, Sept. 18 (Petra)-- Accompanying His Majesty King Abdullah II on a working visit to the Czech Republic, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met with the Czech First Lady, Mrs. Eva Pavlová, in Prague on Friday.
President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel and his wife Mrs. Pavlová received Their Majesties at Prague Castle, where an official welcoming ceremony was held. Following a joint meeting, Queen Rania and Mrs. Pavlová departed for a tour of the historic castle, which serves as the official seat of the President of the Czech Republic.
Founded in the ninth century, Prague Castle is the world’s largest ancient castle complex. During their tour, the Queen and First Lady visited St. Vitus Cathedral, the city’s principal cathedral and the seat of the Archbishop of Prague, as well as the castle’s South Gardens. //Petra// MF
