Amman, September 20 (Petra) – Orange Jordan, in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, has organised a volunteer cleanup event at the Wasfi Al-Tal Forest in Balqa Governorate to mark World Cleanup Day.

According to a company statement, the initiative was carried out under the "Engage for Change" programme, which empowers Orange Group employees across the Middle East and Africa to participate in community and volunteer programmes that generate a positive social and environmental impact.

Orange stated that it is committed to embedding responsible practices through practical initiatives designed to serve local communities and preserve the environment.

The Ministry of Environment underscored the vital role of public-private partnerships in advancing environmental protection efforts and raising public awareness.

The Ministry noted that active institutional and employee participation in volunteer initiatives fosters positive behaviors, keeps public spaces clean and strengthens a shared sense of responsibility toward natural resources.
