Moscow, Sept 21 (Petra) -- The Russian government said on Monday it is considering extending its ban on diesel exports to global markets beyond the end of September, amid an ongoing oil product crisis and growing pressure on the domestic fuel market.

In an official statement issued Monday, the government said discussions to prolong the export ban come as part of measures aimed at ensuring adequate diesel supplies for the domestic market, maintaining stability across refined product markets, and meeting consumer demand in the coming period.
