Prague, Sept. 18 (Petra)-- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi on Friday met with Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Petr Macinka on the sidelines of His Majesty King Abdullah II’s visit to the Czech Republic.

During the meeting, Safadi and Macinka signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to institutionalize regular political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two friendly countries, as well as an MoU between the Jordanian Diplomatic Institute, affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and the Diplomatic Academy of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The two ministers discussed implementing the outcomes of King Abdullah’s visit to the Czech capital, in ways that strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and open broader prospects for collaboration across several vital areas of mutual interest.

They also exchanged views on regional developments and efforts to end the escalation and establish lasting security and stability.
