Amman, Sept. 21 (Petra) -- Traffic Department received 5,000 messages and reports over 10 days through the "Report a Violation" service on the Sanad app, a Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said all messages and reports were thoroughly reviewed and acted upon, stressing that they play a vital role in enhancing road safety by helping traffic police and department personnel identify violations and take the necessary legal measures.

The PSD thanked citizens for their cooperation in flagging dangerous and unlawful traffic practices that disturb public safety and order, as well as for traffic-related observations and suggestions.

It stressed that the Traffic Department and its directorates continue to handle all reports with "seriousness and professionalism" while protecting the confidentiality of informants' data. It added that it remains in contact with citizens to ensure effective community partnership that supports a safer traffic environment.
