Amman, Sept. 21 (Petra) -- Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Majdi Harasis welcomed Pakistani Ambassador to Jordan Khurram Sarfraz Khan on Monday at his office at the General Command, where they discussed cooperation and coordination between the two countries' armed forces.

During the meeting, which was attended by senior JAF officers and Pakistan's defense attache in Amman, Harasis said the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) is committed to closely cooperate with Pakistan's armed forces.

The envoy noted Jordan's regional role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, hailing the JAF in reinforcing regional and international security and stability.
